Modify > Clone with descendants

This feature is available from the :ref:`ModifyMenu` when the selected asset is a (SKOS) taxonomy *concept*. It can be used to clone a whole sub-tree of the concept hierarchy.
The operation opens a dialog where you can confirm and preview the change.

.. hint::
   The operation will create computer-generated identifiers/URIs for each new asset, basically appending
   something like "_1" to the end of the old URIs.
   You may want to post-process the clones using :ref:`Modify_Replace` to apply your preferred URI
   naming conventions.
